Something to do with 32bit vs 64 bit and the installer itself. Supposedly the CS6 installer won't work with anything past High Sierra so if you had Mohave or Catalina installed before you try to install CS6 if wouldn't work, and that might possibly be the case with your Lightroom 6 as well. I asked around, and also talked to a very knowledgeable guy at the Apple store, and was advised to install CS6 on High Sierra BEFORE attempting to use it on anything beyond that (i.e. So the other day on my 2016 MacBook Pro running High Sierra, I wanted to see if I could install my CS 6 on that. ![]() However, I've been using it successfully on El Capitan for several years now, and Photoshop works perfectly while In Design has an occasional odd blip that doesn't really affect anything, and otherwise it works just fine. ![]() I really don't know if this info will apply to Lightroom 6 and Catalina, but I've recently been experimenting with Adobe CS6, which supposedly doesn't work with anything past El Capitan, and in fact, it wasn't supposed to work with El Cap either but it does. ![]() My hot question before upgrading to Catalina: "I previously installed Lightroom 6 works after upgrade?" ![]()
